Helsinki is the capital city of Finland, known as the daughter of Baltic Sea. Its charming and progressive life style can be witness in every attraction and district of the city. Tram & Walking tour of city highlights will make you understand and enjoy city culture, costumes and its history. The tour itinerary is arranged perfectly to cover the most visited attractions and historical districts to enjoy and understand the city. The Rock Church which is attracting thousands of visitors by its unique architecture will be our first stop. After a short walk will be on famous Mannerheim’s Boulevard to see and take pictures of modern monumental buildings such Finnish National Museum, Music House and we will arrive to Helsinki Central Rail Station which was built by architect E. Saarinen. Tour will continue with an enjoyable walk via main shopping district of Helsinki; Alexander’s Street where Stockman department stores, Marimekko design shop and many other international brand shops are located. At the senate square we will talk about facts of Finland, administration of country and have interior visit to famous Helsinki Cathedral. With imperial architecture and white colour it dominates all the Senate square. Our short visit to Uspenski Orthodox cathedral will take you historical journey to 19th century Russian imperial time and church terrace will give you chance to take great pictures of Helsinki. The Market square and Old market hall are great to buy local handicrafts and try Finnish cuisine.

9.30 - 10: 00 AM – Introduction of the day by local guide and Transfer to city centre by tram and The Rock Church interior visit*
