My name is Catherine. I was born in Saint Petersburg and have been living here all my life.

I have a certificate from the St. Petersburg Association of Professional Guides and Interpreters and I’ve been working as a guide for 7 years. But I don't find it right to call it “work”. Confucius once said: “If you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life."
This is very true for me.

I’m one of those lucky ones, who managed to do it - to combine my passion for art and architecture, and my love for this beautiful city with my job. I do love my city: its majestic views, outstanding museums, lovely white nights... and I could carry on forever.

Since 2005,  I have been involved in introducing people from all countries to the former imperial capital of Russia - Saint Petersburg.

My favorite places in Saint Petersburg are Catherine Palace, Saint Michael’s (Engineer’s) Castle, Summer Palace of Peter the Great.
But. I also love walks in and around the city, its beautiful parks, rivers, and canals.

And in summer you can enjoy the town until late, in the romantic white nights. It is an experience like no other.
